Due to the availability of very inexpensive electronic components available today, CCTV equipment has dramatically reduced in cost; however sadly the quality of equipment has also reduced significantly. All too often the recorded images are unusable for any application and could not be used for any legal purpose.

Through vigorous testing of equipment available to the industry we have designed effective CCTV systems that are still very competitively priced but do not sacrifice the quality of the recorded images. For CCTV recordings to be effective in detecting and investigating crime they must be fit for purpose and easily accessible by the operator and police investigators.

The following four factors should always be taken into account when considering the installation of a CCTV system

QUALITY: The camera’s monitor and cabling installed should be of a high quality and specification to work in conjunction with the recording device to produce crystal images.

STORAGE: The recording equipment or Digital Video Recorder (DVR) should be manufactured to a high quality, be easy to operate and have sufficient hard drive storage to secure high quality images for review or export at a later date.

PLAYBACK: This is a very important factor. The images recorded should be individually accessible by a time and date search and of a high enough resolution to ensure detail and identification within the image.

EXPORT: Images should be easily archived or burned to an external device such as CD to enable the permanent storage of any incident.

As well as local monitoring, images can also be monitored remotely by our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). The technology built into modern digital recorders enables our ARC to monitor our customer’s premises anywhere in the world. Control over any number of cameras and other ancillary equipment such as loud speakers, lighting, electronic gates and barriers.

We offer CCTV Online which means that no matter where you are - at home, for instance, or even on holiday - you can view your site by using special software which transmits video signals through ISDN, ADSL or phone lines or the Internet.

As an NSI accredited installer, we are regulated to the highest standard. All installations comply with the NACP20 1990 code of practice for planning, installation and maintenance of CCTV systems and the British Standard BS7598 1999 closed circuit TV management and operation regulations.
